I grew up a "good" Catholic girl. The reason I say "good" is because I was a Catholic by name, but that was it. As I grew older, I had many questions that were unanswered.

I met Bill, and was immediately attracted to him, because he was a "bad boy". We married a little over a year after we met, and everything went downhill from there. The next eight years were some of the darkest of my lifetime. And then "it" happened...

Bill came home one night claiming he'd just given his life to Jesus, and saying he wasn't going to do drugs or get drunk anymore. I still remember my words to this day: "I am NOT going to one of those churches where they raise their hands and do the chicken in the aisles!" Bill said he understood, but he was going to continue.

Fast forward a few months. One day a friend of ours came over who we hadn't seen in a while. He asked Bill, "Hey, Willie, you wanta get high?" For the first time since I'd known Bill, he turned his friend down. His words? "I can't. I gave my heart to Jesus, and I don't do that anymore." Something in me CLICKED. I gave MY heart to Jesus, as well, and the adventure has never stopped getting more and more exciting! I hope you'll join us on this wild ride!
